South Dakota commercial pool operators are required by SD ARSD 44:02:14:11 to maintain daily operating logs, weekly bacteriological samples, and chemical recordkeeping. Most property managers we talk to handle this themselves, hate every minute of it, and dread inspection day.

We don’t. We handle the daily logs every visit. We pull and submit your weekly bacteriological sample to a certified lab. Your compliance binder lives at the pool deck and is inspection-ready every single day. When the inspector shows up, you point and walk away.

About the owner

United Prime is a new company. The pool expertise behind it is not.

The owner is a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) with hands-on commercial experience servicing hotel pools, apartment complexes, and other commercial properties in the Sioux Falls area over the past decade — most of it as a lead technician for a previous employer. Those properties belong to that employer’s portfolio, not ours, so we don’t list them by name. What we can tell you is exactly what kinds of properties, equipment, and problems we’ve handled. Ask on the site walk — we’ll be specific.

What you get with United Prime that you don’t get with a larger shop: the owner is the technician. The person who quotes your job is the person on your deck every week. The phone you call is answered by the person who knows your equipment. Yes. The owner holds a current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification from PHTA. CPO certification is required by South Dakota law for commercial pool operators. Certification details available on request.

Yes — $1,000,000 general liability. We provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) on request, with your property listed as additional insured if needed for your contract.

Yes. SD ARSD 44:02:14:11 requires daily operating logs and weekly bacteriological sampling for commercial pools. We handle all of it — every visit, every week — and maintain an inspection-ready compliance binder at your property.

We're on-site within 4 hours of the call. We follow CDC and SD Department of Health protocols for fecal incident remediation, document the incident in your compliance binder, and reopen the pool only after testing confirms it's safe. Same response for any health-and-safety closure event.

Yes. Properties with 3+ pools get a 10–15% volume discount on the base contract rate. Larger portfolios — talk to us, we'll work with you.

Absolutely. We've handled mid-season takeovers before. We do a full equipment audit on day one, document the current condition for your records, and have you on a clean compliance trail within two visits.

All routine chemicals are included in the base monthly contract — chlorine, pH balancers, alkalinity, calcium, stabilizer, algaecide. Specialty treatments (shock treatments after weather events, phosphate removers, metal sequestrants) are billed at cost with no markup.

For planned absences, we give you advance notice and the visit is covered by a backup CPO technician we work with. For unplanned absences, the same backup is on-call. You always have a CPO on your property — never a gap in service.
